Don’t “Worry” About Self Defense

Another great question. For most of us, our minds already feel a bit cluttered. We must think about keeping a job, raising the kids, paying the bills, staying healthy, planning for retirement and on and on. Self-defense? Sure. That sounds kind of important too. But I don’t have time to worry about self defense today. Maybe another day.

Truthfully, no one should “worry” about self defense. That is not meant to be dismissive. Worry is probably inevitable and sometimes unavoidable. Like fear, it is a natural human emotion and we have all been affected by it at some point in our lives. Fear will motivate us to take necessary actions. And it can be managed if we choose not to let it manage us.

Thinking About Self Defense

Thinking about self defense and planning a self-defense strategy is NOT worrying. You don’t have to focus on it full-time or create a stockpile of self-defense items all at once. Start somewhere and take it one step at a time. Start by browsing through the product categories on this website. Without feeling like you must purchase anything immediately. It is what I have been doing to acquaint myself with the products and to plan my own strategy.

Wildfire Lipstick Pepper Spray

Consider the Wildfire Lipstick Pepper Spray when thinking about self defense weapons

It is said that pepper spray is the # 1 selling personal protection product. And that makes perfect sense. Pepper sprays are relatively inexpensive, uncomplicated, easy to conceal and easy to use. For example, the Wildfire 1.4% MC Lipstick Pepper Spray (pictured above) is a great starter product for any woman. It is priced at only $17 and comes in black, pink, red and silver. It looks just like a lipstick case when pulled from a pocket book or purse. But it is much more than that!

First, what the heck is 1.4% MC anyway? MC stands for Major Capsaicinoids and 1.4% is the concentration of MC in the spray. Simply put, MC is the chemical ingredient in these pepper sprays that causes a very unpleasant reaction for a would-be attacker. MC is the true heat measure and, in addition to causing pain, will cause swelling of the mucous membranes and of the veins in the eyes. Making it difficult to breathe and causing the eyes to close.

After considering what an effective pepper spray might do to an attacker, you might feel a bit squeamish about using it on another human being. That’s understandable. We who consider ourselves the good guys are always hesitant to cause pain or suffering to another person. Even a bad guy with bad intentions. But pepper sprays are not lethal and do not cause permanent damage. Your conscience will remain clear if you are forced to deploy this weapon.

So don’t worry about self defense. Plan for it. One step at a time. Thank you for visiting our website. We hope you find it interesting and informative. Until later…..
